Dr. Wade D. Thompson is an orthodontic specialist, which means that after receiving his dental degree, he completed an advanced university training program. He first graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science, then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington and Master of Science degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his master's thesis on dentofacial orthopedics using herbst appliance therapy. He also has done extensive research on oral cancer in which he was awarded first place in a research competition by the American Association for Dental Research.
Dr. Thompson is a member of the prestigious Honor Dental Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Utah Dental Association, the Utah Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pinnacle Study Club.
Dr. Thompson has made a commitment to continuously update his knowledge and skills and regularly attends seminars to keep him at the leading edge of the orthodontic community regarding technique and patient manage.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Thompson is a sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time with his wife Donnell and his sons Drew and Tate. Dr. Thompson is very involved in his community, family and church.
